Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Psychosis
Offered by CRCT – Community Resource Connections Toronto
Cognitive behavioural approaches can help us help understand the relationship between events and our feelings, emotions, thoughts and behaviours. Using this insight we can make small changes and learn to change the way we thing, behave and feel and start to have more of the experiences we want.
This programme will help you learn some tools and approaches that you can use in your own life.
Programmes available in Toronto: downtown and in Scarborough.
- This is a 16 week programme – 16 sessions of 2 hours duration.
- The approach does not seek to eliminate voices but to help the voice hearer learn how to live with the experience.
- Learn skills, tools, approaches you can use to help you live more at ease with the voices you hear.
- Learn in a group setting guided and supported by two trained facilitators – at least one of whom is a voice hearer too.
